Arizona Theatre Company presents a showcase of new work from CafĂ© Bohemia’s WordUp, a fresh new program for local playwrights, poets, writers and storytellers to stretch their literary and creative muscles with the support of ATC’s artistic and dramaturgical staff.  Featuring new works by Esther Almazan, Pam Burris, Will Cordeiro, Linda Evans, Michael Fenlason, Kelly J. Hardesty, Kim Lowry, Leslie Powell, Ron Pullins, Dawn Costello Sellers, Germaine Shames and Eugenia Woods.


Join us for the final Cafe Bohemia event of the season!  Grab a drink, pull up a chair, and be among the very first audience to hear new words come to life!

Upcoming: Albatross

The last Cafe Bohemia reading of the 2013-14 season coming up in Tucson and Phoenix!  Join us for Albatross, written and conceived by Matthew Spangler and Benjamin Evett; originally commissioned by Michael Seiden.

Playwright Matthew Spangler returns to ATC and Cafe Bohemia, where you may have seen his adaptation of The Kite Runner on the mainstage, and Tortilla Curtain in last season's Cafe Bohemia.

You may recognize Benjamin Evett from his work on ATC's mainstage as C.S. Lewis in last season's Freud's Last Session and as Alan Raleigh in God of Carnage.

With Love and Thanks

Intermezzo 6

A huge thank you to all who came out to share in the incredible talents of poets Jane Miller and Orlando White in last evening's Intermezzo!  It was an incredible experience of language, laughter and love, and we thank you all for the creativity, the imagination, and the spirit of generosity that emanates from the Tucson literary community.
